Forest zonation

In the forest area, there are:

• 11,307 hectares of category A (walking, horseback riding, and cycling are not permitted);
• 252,366 hectares of category B (only walking is allowed – horseback riding and cycling may be allowed on designated paths based on special assessment);
• 572,713 hectares of category C (horseback riding and cycling are allowed on designated paths and other marked routes);
• 398,629 hectares of category D (activities permitted under B and C categories, as well as other uses).
