Fire-prone forests
Fire-prone forests are forest areas with an increased level of fire risk.
The fire risk is calculated as part of the development of regional forest management plans, based on the methodology outlined in the Forest Protection Regulation annex. Detailed information on the development of these plans is available here.
Fire risk is also displayed in the online viewer of the Slovenian Forest Service under the Forest Data Viewer.
